Over the past decade, Irvine Company has implemented a portfolio wide energy management platform that delivers demand response, fault detection and chiller plant and air handling optimization. The portfolio includes properties in Orange County, San Diego, West Los Angeles, Silicon Valley, Chicago and New York City. The platform overlays onto existing building automation system providing a scalable solution that analyzes data sets within the BMS, predicting and detecting system anomalies. Optimization strategies leverage AI that focuses on load base algorithms, system takes a holistic approach that enables the air side to work in a cohesive manner with the energy delivered by the chiller plants maintaining a dynamic balance that ensures occupant comfort and is synonymous with energy efficiency. On top of energy reduction, portfolio-wide analytics and fault detection software enables ongoing monitoring base commissioning that mitigate against system drift that could possibly impact sustainability goals and compromise tenant comfort.
