Alaska Building - Energy Efficiency & Electrification Success Story

UMC and City Light will discuss the customer's holistic approach of assessing the buildings performance with the goal to reduce energy use and eliminate nearly all greenhouse gas emissions.

Lisa has years of experience implementing energy initiatives in the public and private sector. She is a project manager in Seattle City Light’s Customer Energy Solutions division and focuses on building performance programs. Prior to City Light, she worked in the Energy and Environmental Services division of Lockheed Martin consulting for NYSERDA. Before consulting, she made use of her degree in Public Health and worked for New York City’s Health Department. Lisa is grateful that throughout her career she has been a presence in her community and not tied to a desk. She is a strong believer in creating an inclusive work environment at City Light and participates in multiple “culture change” initiatives throughout the utility.
