Importance of Energy Data Logging at Industrial and Commercial Facilities - Annual Data Logging Comparisons...Why?

Abstract

“California’s energy code is designed to reduce wasteful and unnecessary energy consumption in newly constructed and existing buildings.”, according to the California energy commission. Paul will discuss title 24, sections parts 6 and 11, and how this establishes standards for buildings of certain size, business types, for annual reporting and changes to sustainable efficiency over time. Paul will share the information on how the State of California and the California Energy Commission have mandated data logging of energy parameters on buildings in California, and to report energy usage annually. Paul will share a case study on what work he is doing using power monitoring meters to effectively measure, analyze, and report energy usage.

Bio

Paul Benschine is an energy efficiency professional. Paul is a member of AEE – Association of Energy Engineers. Paul is also member and board member of the local chapter in Northern California. Paul educates customers on energy efficiency and technologies. Paul assists customers purchase products to solve energy issues.. Paul is an expert at collecting data, data logging and project viability, survey and evaluate of electrical networks, researching issues and problems, then developing solutions to solve those problems.

Paul assists consultants, and contractors in implementing energy efficiency projects. Paul works with manufacturers to assist them get the right products for solutions required on the field in industrial and commercial buildings.

Paul brings game changing technologies to end users to reduce operating costs through energy efficiency and sustainable solutions. Paul's experience includes utility net metering systems, solar and other energy solutions to get the customer off the grid and lead them into net zero buildings.

Paul currently works with an energy efficiency and technology firm, Voltage Stasis Technologies, LLC., to develop business opportunities for sustainable solutions. He is involved in projects from inception to completion.

In short, he saves money for all stake holders.

Paul is from Fresno, CA, he completed secondary education at Cypress College, Bakersfield College, and Cosumnes River College, all located in CA. He has AA from Bakersfield College and a degree in Automotive Engineering from Cosumnes River College.
