In that role, he investigated designs for reducing wind farm radar cross sections and, in a joint program with General Motors, tested and developed prototypes of automotive fuel cells and associated hydrogen infrastructure.
Green Hydrogen for Powering Los Angeles
LADWP presents an overview on the potential for green hydrogen to decarbonize its local power generation fleet in Los Angeles, a critical initiative in order to maintain a reliable and resilient grid. Emerging technologies, an evolving policy and regulatory landscape in support of a clean-energy economy, and multi-sectoral demand for renewable fuels present an transformative opportunity to enable a 100% carbon-free power sector. However, significant cross-cutting challenges remain in making the transition to hydrogen-fueled power generation possible. LADWP provides an overview on these challenges along with the overarching high-potential benefits green hydrogen offers.
