Abstract:

As organizations pursue net-zero goals, the credibility of their reported carbon reductions depends on accurate and transparent data. Digital MRV is transforming how organizations track, validate, and finance decarbonization. Through the integration of IoT data, digital twins, and verifiable ledgers, companies can now quantify carbon reductions with unprecedented accuracy and transparency, turning energy and material performance data into actionable, financeable assets.

This session draws on real-world applications developed across products/ supply chain, building decarbonization, and manufacturing projects. We’ll show how digital MRV systems bridge operational energy data with recognized carbon standards such as Verra, Gold Standard, and ISO 14064, creating a pathway for projects to generate verified carbon credits and accelerate investment in clean technologies.

Participants will gain insight into how these tools are applied in multiple sectors, how data confidence drives credit quality, and how digital MRV can be embedded into existing energy management systems to streamline reporting and compliance with frameworks like CSRD and ESG disclosure.
