The Power of AND - Beyond Electrification to Decarbinization with Renewal CHP
The evolving and increasingly urgent challenges of energy costs, risk mitigation, sustainability or decarbonization initiatives, and electrification require evolving solutions. Both renewable energy and traditional CHP have played important roles in improving energy economics, resilience and sustainability progress. Leveraging proven technologies, solar powered or “green” combined heat and power provides the best of both in a single system. This presentation describes the approach, examines best fit applications, describes the current incentive potential, and provides case studies for discussion. The sun is bright AND hot AND free. “Green” combined heat and power capitalizes on all three aspects for better business outcomes.
